Welcome Message Mr Gaston Parage IPF President

We look forward to welcome all the delegations from around the world to participate in this event.

On behalf of my colleagues of the IPF Executive Committee, and I, please accept my congratulations to you and your organizing team for being awarded the IPF Sub-junior and Junior, Classic and Equipped, World Powerlifting Championships that will be held on 28 August 2025 to 08 September 2024, in Valletta, Malta.

After your exceptional direction of this World Open Classic Championships last year, in St. Julians, we’re extremely confident the 2024 IPF World Sub-Junior and Junior Championships will be even better, and most likely the largest ever, in the history of the International Powerlifting Federation.

In closing, I want to wish the organizing Committee, and all the athlete, coaches, and officials the very best of success!

Cruise in style and comfort on our luxurious and new Turkish Gulet.  We depart at 09.30hrs as we sail for a full day’s cruise on the North Eastern Coast close to shoreline catching glimpse of various villages and attractions that dot the coastline.  Amongst are St. Julians Bay, St. Paul’s Island and Mellieha.  Our first stop is Comino Island and the Blue Lagoon, berth ‘stern to’ and spend time at leisure for swimming, sunbathing, snorkelling or simply enjoying a walk on Comino Island which is still untouched in its beauty and nature.  In the meantime, our cruise continues for another swim stop in a nice secluded bay in Gozo.  In the afternoon we proceed to another bay in Malta.  Arriving back at around 1730hrs.
