Dear Athletes, Coaches, and Officials,
Dear IPF Family,
On behalf of the International Powerlifting Federation, I am pleased to welcome you to the 2023 IPF World Classic Open Powerlifting Championships in Malta.
It is the first time that the IPF family will have a World Championship on the beautiful Island of Malta.
The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) lead by Meet Director Mr. Mauro Gasan, and the President of Malta Powerlifting Association, Matthew Elphick, are doing a great job in preparing an outstanding and a most memorable event for everyone.

The IPF Malta – Gozo & Comino Island Cruise
Take advantage of the IPF Malta Championship break, for the General Assembly, to view the Maltese Archipelago from a different perspective.
We drop anchor in a secluded bay in Gozo and the beautiful Blue Lagoon in Comino. En-route one sees the panoramic cliffs, coves and inlets. The ideal day to spend swimming, sunbathing and relaxing on the large decks of our wooden gullets.
A fully stocked bar and toilet facilities are available on board.
